Bibliographie non exhaustive sur la Slov é nie

This bibliography does not claim with exhaustiveness for three reasons at least!
The first they is that it will undoubtedly grow rich with the wire by our discoveries in the racks by the secondhand booksellers, in the rays of the booksellers. It incomplete voluntarily but is thus opened with all the lucky finds which we will make and which we hope to make with your assistance!!
The second reason, it is that Slovénie, was " a as " sudden discovery for me... as the death of Yugoslavia. France indeed tends to lock up its nationals in his blindness. I " had never seen " slovenes neither on the cards nor in the books. I believed that there low (at 8 hours of car) there were only Yugoslavians, characters of Tintin (see the Tournesol business). I shared the indistinctness which was so often in France, the consent of the pro-Serb prejudice, or the refuge of ignorance. Simple crossed of Ljubjana to foot between two trains was the beginning of my search of this history, this country, and few books which spoke about it.
The third reason finally, of all most serious, it is that the French history explains for a great part, this absence of Slovénie in our shelves of library. The First World War very scrambled or all tragically simplified so much the importance of the shock between the central France and its allies and empires was traumatisant. France and its intellectuals mobilized in this titanic effort, then saw in the composite whole of the Slavic people only those which could be useful for them in the war and the future that was going to draw a dearly acquired victory. Among those there were Russian, that Communism will tear off us with our great spite during the war, there were Polish whom the fear of the Bolchevism again made us love, Czech (already Czechoslovakian!) and finally the Serb ones! Ah, that Serbia was beautiful, when it and we share the same hatred of the same enemies. For the blow a small very unstable Balkan tyranny politically absorbed in a rurality latecomer ambitionnant to become already before 1914 " the great nation of the balkans ", on the model of " the great revolutionary nation " which had been France. A program that our country could only include/understand, which warmly to approve to weaken Germany and Austria-Hungary.
Certe it was necessary well to make a place with Croatian, with slovenes, but a place under the control of Serbia, because only this one had row of nation worthy of this name. Started then the long purgatory of the small indistinctly qualified nations of Yugoslavian. Public French was thus private of almost all information. In the field of the books for example, France had (sometimes in worse good!) the leading policy of Belgrade, and that with the contempt of our own history. Thus of Napoleon and his Illyriènne province, which marked for slovenes of great changes, thus of Charles Nodier and his pages of memories on Ljubjana (Laibach at the time).
To speak about Slovénie was like interdict by the plays of political alliances, and then the practice of silence was such as nothing could enable us to include/understand in 1991 why these small forgotten " people " were going to be the first to be left socialist Yugoslavia ghostly and completely handled by Slobodan Milosévic. The scandal was enormous, it was again necessary to dig the meninges to include/understand the history of phantom " people " however physically quite present, and which (to excuse little!) wanted of to finish at the same time with the Communism and its more pitiful representing: the Serb leader known good.
A whole comfort of not thought, a whole heap of reflexes lasts being fought, to be able to release Slovénie of the lead cover which covered it. In spite of that a flood of lies, against truths, half-stupidities, true gullibilities and heavy filths continued in France in particular to overpower small people which cannot about it but " to be small ". The slovenes did not want to live any more in the lie and 1991 their gave the opportunity to live for them (and not between them!). Is this incomprehensible for French, it should be believed so much this small country remains secret in France, so much the number of books relating to it is finally quite thin.
For the realizers of this site, there is no " small " or of " large " people, there are only free people, and that is essential the century when they find this freedom, and finally that very expensive friends.
